About the Wheel Spinner
Can't decide? Put the options on a wheel and let chance choose. Type in your choices — names, restaurants, chores, prize entries, anything — give the wheel a title, and hit Spin. The wheel whirls and lands on one segment, clearly highlighting the winner. It's perfect for settling "who pays for dinner," picking a raffle winner in class, choosing tonight's film, or breaking any tie fairly and visibly.
How it works
Each choice becomes an equal, colour-coded segment of the wheel. When you spin, the wheel accelerates and eases to a stop after several turns; the segment under the pointer at the top is the winner. The stopping point is driven by your browser's cryptographically secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so every choice has an equal, unbiased chance every spin. Everything runs in your browser — no accounts, nothing uploaded.
Features
- Custom title above the wheel for context ("Dinner tonight", "Prize draw").
- Edit or remove choices before you spin — just change the list.
- Full-screen mode so a whole room can watch the spin.
- Share the result as a clean image card ("The wheel landed on: …").
- Distinct colours per segment so it's easy to read at a glance.
Limitations
- Very long lists get thin segments and small labels — the wheel reads best with roughly 2–20 choices.
- It's a fair random pick, not a weighted one; every choice has the same odds (add a choice twice to "weight" it).
- The result is random each spin; it isn't saved between sessions.
Privacy
The wheel runs entirely in your browser. Your choices are never uploaded or stored.
