About the PPT to PDF converter
This tool reads a PowerPoint (.pptx) file slide by slide and rebuilds each slide as a page in a PDF, matching the original slide size, so you can share or print a presentation without needing PowerPoint installed.
How it works
Upload a .pptx file. Each slide becomes one PDF page at the same aspect ratio as the original slide size. The text and images on each slide are extracted and laid out on the page, text first, then images.
Assumptions and behaviour
- One PDF page per slide, matching the original slide's width-to-height ratio.
- Text is extracted in reading order and shown as plain wrapped lines — original text boxes, positions and exact font styling are not reproduced.
- Images are extracted and placed below the text, scaled to fit the page width, in the order they appear in the slide's XML.
- This is a best-effort, content-preserving conversion, not a pixel-perfect visual copy of the original slide design.
Limitations
- Original slide layout and design (exact text box positions, backgrounds, transitions, animations) is not reproduced — this extracts content, not the visual design.
- Some legacy image formats embedded in older presentations (e.g. .wmf/.emf) may not render and are skipped.
- If a slide has a lot of text, it may not all fit on the page — content isn't reflowed across multiple pages per slide.
- Password-protected .pptx files can't be processed.
Privacy
The file is converted entirely in your browser using JSZip and jsPDF. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
