About Pick For Me
When you just can't choose, let this decide. Type your options — what to eat, which task to do first, where to go, who's up next — hit Pick For Me, and it randomly lands on one after a quick suspense cycle. It's the fast, no-fuss way to settle small decisions and beat choice paralysis, and you can re-pick as many times as you like without retyping.
How it works
Each line you type is one option. When you press the button, it briefly cycles through the options for a moment of suspense, then stops on a final pick chosen with your browser's cryptographically secure random generator — so every option has an exactly equal chance. The reveal is deliberately quick, not a long gimmick. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Good for
- What to eat — pick a restaurant or cuisine.
- What to do — choose the next task, chore or game.
- Who's next — pick a person to go first.
- Yes / no / maybe — or any small either-or.
Need a visual spinning version, or teams instead? Try the Wheel Spinner or the Random Team Generator.
Limitations
- It's a fair, unweighted pick — every option has the same odds (add an option twice to weight it).
- The choice is random each time and isn't saved between sessions.
- For a big list you want to see spin, the Wheel Spinner is more visual.
Privacy
The picker runs entirely in your browser. Your options are never uploaded or stored.
