About the Photo Slideshow Maker
This tool combines a set of photos into a single MP4 video, one photo per slide, in the order you arrange them. Pick how long each slide holds, choose a landscape, portrait or square frame, and optionally lay background music underneath. Everything is encoded on your device with ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly — your photos are never uploaded anywhere.
How it works
- Drop in your photos (up to 40 at a time).
- Reorder with the ▲▼ buttons, rotate any slide 90° at a time, or remove ones you don't want.
- Set seconds per slide and pick an aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16 for Reels/Stories, or square).
- Optionally add a background music track — it loops or trims to match the slideshow length.
- Create & download — an MP4 file is built locally and downloads automatically.
Privacy
Nothing is uploaded. Your photos (and music, if added) are read locally and encoded by ffmpeg.wasm running inside your browser — no server, no account, no tracking of your files.
Frequently asked questions
Is this photo slideshow maker free?
Yes — 100% free, no sign-up, no watermark, no limit on how many slideshows you make.
What video format do I get?
An MP4 file (H.264 video, AAC audio if you added music) — plays everywhere, including iPhone and Android.
How many photos can I use?
Up to 40 photos per slideshow. More photos or longer per-slide durations mean a longer encode time since everything runs in your browser.
Can I add my own music?
Yes — add one audio file and it will loop (or trim) to match the total length of your slideshow.
Does this upload my photos anywhere?
No. Photos and any music you add are processed entirely on your device using ffmpeg.wasm and never leave your browser.
Can I use different aspect ratios for Instagram/TikTok?
Yes — pick 9:16 for Reels/Stories/TikTok, 1:1 for a square feed post, or 16:9 for standard widescreen.
