FreeMyTask respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of freemytask.com (the "Service") to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").
What this policy covers
FreeMyTask provides free, browser-based tools (PDF, image, text, calculators, and similar utilities). Almost all tools run entirely in your browser — files and text you process are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. If you believe that content published on this site (such as page text, images, or other assets we host) infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.
Filing a DMCA takedown notice
To file a notice of alleged infringement, send a written communication to our designated contact (below) that includes all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (e.g. the exact page URL).
- Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Where to send notices
Send DMCA notices to contact@freemytask.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice". Incomplete notices may not be able to be processed.
Counter-notification
If material you posted or believe was wrongly identified as infringing has been removed, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., for any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Repeat infringers
We reserve the right to remove content and, where applicable, restrict access for users determined to be repeat infringers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
